Wealth manager Bessemer names new Miami office head

Rapport replaces Wilcox, who is slated to lead Bessemer's western region. New York-based Bessemer Trust has promoted firm principal Kerry Rapport to the position of senior resident officer for its Miami office. She replaces George Wilcox, who will manage the multifamily office's West Coast operations.
Step up
Rapport, previously senior client account manager at the Miami office, reports to senior managing director Thaddeus Shelly, Bessemer's Southeast regional head.
"Extensive experience working with high-net-worth families and deep roots in this community will enable Kerry and her existing team to build upon Bessemer's strong presence in Southeast Florida," says Shelly.
Rapport has also worked at Chicago-based Northern Trust and as an attorney at a private law practice.
Bessemer, which turns 100 next year, oversees around $46 billion in assets. Altogether the firm has 12 offices in the U.S., one in London and one on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. -FWR
